Iluminarc LEDs have kitted out the Eiffel Tower with LEDs as part of the Paris landmark's 120-year anniversary celebrations.
Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE), the company that operates the site, installed some 400 Ilumipod 48 IP RGBW wash lights on the tower, illuminating the Trocadero façade in a blaze of colour and dynamic lighting shows. The units, supplied by CSI, a major local distributor, produce a series of shows each running for twelve minutes, between eight and eleven in the evening.
The Ilumipod 48 IP lights benefit from low energy consumption levels; SETE has realized cost savings by implementing energy saving solutions. These include a green electricity contract, low energy light bulbs and careful use of lighting and heating.
