Revamp sees theatre façade turned into message board

The Théâtre National de Bretagne has used Martin Exterior 200 LED to illuminate the façade of the building.

The system uses animations to "announce" various events being held in the theatre. As part of a full renovation programme, the lighting designer, Jean-Francois Touchard, worked with the municipal authorities in the city of Rennes in Brittany to come up with the scheme.

The Exterior 200 uses RGB, amber and white colour mixing, using 44 LEDs to produce a full colour range.
