Published: 24 November 2007

Entech has reported that its trade show in February 2008 is fully subscribed, with more than 500 exhibitors and brands having confirmed their registrations.

According to Entech, the participants represent the leading manufacturers, suppliers and service providers in the entertainment technology industry.

ULA Group will be dispaying the Robe Show Lighting range, featuring the brand new Colorwash 750AT Tungsten, designed for theatre, TV and architectural markets.

Lighthouse Distribution will display products from Clay Paky, DTS, ChamSys, Flesineon and CLS LED, plus a few surprises with display of the new range of Alpha 300 moving body projectors from Clay Paky.

OSRAM will also be there showcasing its Xstage, a new lamp line especially suited for event and architecture lighting. On the basis of the established XBO lamp series, the new xenon short arc lamps are optimised for outdoor use.

The Australasian Lighting Industry Association will be conducting a series of specialist lighting seminars. It has announced three 90 minute sessions. "Starting Out in Lighting Design" will feature four designers explaining their design processes. "Testing and Tagging" will explain how this element of workplace safety can be implemented without becoming a bureaucratic and financial black hole. And "Technology Briefing" will look at current technologies driving developments in lighting design and production.

With free entry, Entech reckons this show is a must-see event for all professional entertainment technology users.
