PLASA will in future run exhibitions through its own newly established events subsidiary, ending a sixteen-year relationship with Clarion Events.

The Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA) has taken control of its own exhibition and set up a new events company.

As well as ending its 16 year relationship with Clarion Events, which ran the Earls Court based PLASA show on its behalf, the association plans a "new strand" of regional and international events, including a networking event in the north of England.

The PLASA 2007 show will also be relaunched, extending from Earls Court 1 into Earls Court 2.
